Toledo Celtics Soccer Club

Toledo Celtics holds tryouts in early June for all teams. For youth teams the "soccer year" runs from mid-August to June 1st, so the June tryouts are for the following fall, winter, and spring seasons. For high school teams the "soccer year" runs from December 1st to June 1st, so the June tryouts are for the following winter, and spring seasons. One of our core values is to provide the opportunity for an excellent soccer experience to as many players as possible. At United we make every effort to place all players that attend tryouts on a team. If we don't have enough open spots to place players we can work with families to try to find another club with an open spot. To further highlight our commitment to find a roster spot for each player, players not offered a roster spot will have their tryout fee refunded. 

• Players are placed on teams by birth year. All players are expected to attend the tryout for their birth year unless they have made prior arrangements with the coaching directors. Players are not allowed to play up unless special circumstances are involved.
• If possible, we will form a first and second teams per age level and place the teams in competition appropriate for each team to ensure the players have a developmentally appropriate and enjoyable experience.
• Tryouts are free and open to all players interested in high-level soccer

• Toledo Celtics uses PlayMetrics for program registration, scheduling and communication. After clicking the "register for tryouts" button below you will be taken to an external site to create an account and sign up for tryouts.
• All players should report to the tryout registration tent 15-20 minutes before their scheduled tryout time. Players will be checked in and given a numbered tryout pinnie to be worn during the tryout process.
• It is strongly recommended that any new players to Toledo Celtics be accompanied by a parent to assist with tryout registration.
